The Friday Art & Jazz Salon at Holland Tunnel Gallery is an initiative of the Dutch Sisters Paulien Lethen, an artist and director of Holland Tunnel New York and its summer branch on Paros, and Heleen Schuttevaêr, a jazz pianist/vocalist. Heleen will play and sing solo and with Greek and international guest musicians. Her jazz sessions and informal concerts are well-known and guaranteed to swing. Heleen gives the drive of Monty Alexander, the swing of Peggy Lee, the bossa nova feel of Jobim, the energy of Art Blakey and the groove of Les McCann a new and sophisticated flair.
